Noticed a leak coming from the bathroom ceiling (we are on the first floor) and reported it right away (Nov 5th) also pointed out a wet spot in my kitchen cabinet. They said they'd come on the 7th, and didn't. Called on the 8th and asked when they were coming and they sent someone. Found out a leak upstairs reported 3 weeks ago hadn't been addressed and by that point mold was growing on my ceiling. They came to put in drywall and the maintenance crew said the entire ceiling was wet and couldn't be covered or it wouldn't dry and defeat the purpose. No communication, nothing, only that my shower couldn't be used. Came while I was at work and did the drywall anyway. Had no idea they had even been in my apartment. Finally came while I was home today and we checked out the kitchen. Leak is now awful and cabinets can't be used, and I couldn't even wash my dishes and I'm too disgusted to cook dinner. They took a look and left and said they'd come back, and as always, I'm left in the dark waiting and it's been almost an hour. It's Nov 28th by the way and I asked if I could get out of the lease and no response. How long will I be without a bathroom or suitable kitchen? Why is it ok for them to treat their tenants like this?
