We went here on a recent date night because my fella loves burgers and they advertise that they were voted the best burger in Charlotte. We were seated quickly at a table that had booth seating on one side and chairs on the other. The chairs were so uncomfortable that we both sat on the booth side, which is something we never (and I mean NEVER) do.
We ordered drinks, which were overpriced (I think $5 for a blue moon bottle) but good. As I scanned the menu, I thought about different options. I first thought about the BBQ shrimp appetizer (listed as a "big bite") but the server informed me that it was one slice of toast with a few shrimp on it (for $13). Nope. Next I considered the fish and chips but the server told me it was not the traditional cod. Nope. I did not want fried tilapia. Feeling like I had no other choice, I went with the crunch burger. My boyfriend ordered the same and we both had Parmesan fries
Our food came out very fast. We both agreed that it was a decent burger, but definitely not the best in Charlotte. There wasn't anything terrible about it but there also wasn't anything super great. I wanted to like the fries but found them to be less flavorful than I had hoped. My boyfriend, however, really liked the fries.
We both agree that this place isn't terrible. It also isn't somewhere we will be running back to go.
