Decided to try AT&T Fiber after a very frustrating original tech visit in early February 2017. I had a more friendly and professional tech installer setup my service a few weeks later. The service (reliability and speed) has been rock solid since it was installed. Speeds are terrific (for wireless) and I get full 1GBps on my Ethernet connected devices which s is great to work from home with. I came from Time Warner/Spectrum an overpriced and unreliable ISP similar to Comcast. I was paying $50 for 100MBps at the time and dropped TWC/Spectrum when they raised my monthly rate by $10 for the same speed and couldn't match their 300MBps plan to AT&Ts offer for 300MBps at $50. I decided to pay $20 more to get AT&Ts 1GBps plan at $70 a month. I have had AT&T for my wireless phones for 9 years now and am happy to use their internet services too. I don't watch tv and don't need U-verse or DirecTV(had bad experiences with DTV in the past before the merger) and can not speak to those services but DirectvNOW was really fantastic when I had it for the first 4 months other than not being available on Roku at the time. My only reason for the 4 stars is the modem. Sometimes it reboots and some of my devices don't connect right away and the web user interface is slow and unintuitive. I may need to move the modem and bring my Apple Airport router out of retirement. Thanks AT&T you rock!
