We really like this place! It's a great little pioneer town and a wonderful jumping off point to talk to your kids about what life used to be like. There's a paved cement pathway that winds through the town, allowing you to look at a bunch of different buildings- a barber shop, dress shop, carpenter, blacksmith, church, several types of homes, a schoolhouse & teacher's house, sheriff's office, bank, etc. They also have an area where they hve shoot-outs. Most of the staff we encountered seemed friendly, there was one lady that seemed a bit cranky, but we just smiled at her and figured she must be having a bad day! Anyhow, my kids loved it and I would definitely recommend spending a few hours here after maybe reading some relevant library books.
