I've been here a few times...and I can't really complain. The atmosphere is sleek and modern. The counter displays an aesthetically pleasing assortment of cupcakes depending on what time of day you go. The buttercream frosting is not "swiss meringue" or the fancier type of frosting I was expecting from a cupcake shop (think The Cupcake Shoppe, Magnolia, Billys, Butter Lane). The frostings however are not too sickly sweet. If you are craving a cupcake in Scarberia, you can't really complain.
With the exception of the red velvet, the other flavours are either vanilla or chocolate with a different kind of frosting (mocha, peanut butter, salted caramel, strawberry, etc). I was expecting a variation in the type of actual "cake" I was eating. So if you don't really like frosting..you'll either be eating chocolate or vanilla cake.
Red Velvet - my favourite.
Coconut - consistency of the cupcake itself was a bit dry. Better with the frosting.
Chocolate - a richer chocolate
Rocky Road/Smores - The marshmallow frosting was spongier..not a fan.
Peanut butter - frosting was delish...my second fave.
