You know a Chinese place is authentic when they barely speak English. Found in a little nook in Chinatown Plaza, next to the Chinatown Mall, Noodle Pot is one of Las Vegas' hidden local gems. What's the appeal? Good home-cookin'. Their noodle soups and stews taste like Grandma has been slaving away all day in the kitchen so you can enjoy a delicious meal. Portions are good for the price, although I personally wish it was smaller in size and a dollar or two cheaper. The joint itself is very small and homey, with almost all the patrons speaking exclusively in Chinese. The menu is fairly simple and easy to understand and service is relatively quick and painless. I like this place enough, but not enough to crave it. The great thing is that their noodles are nicely cooked and I appreciate that they aren't too firm or too soft.
