Macarons, lava cakes, cookies and gelato? You'll be in heaven when you try Michelle by Sweets 507! It's the new sweets boutique shop here in Henderson.
--The Sweets--
Macarons: made in-house and HQ for the well known macarons Sweets 507, which are distributed to local stores and coffee shops. Owner/Pastry Chef Michelle, creates some French macarons like,Hibiscus, Passion Fruit and my personal favorite, Honey Lavender. There's also vegan macarons too. Also she can do special request/orders. All made with natural ingredients.
Macarons, cookies, pastries and sweets are all made in small batches, so avoid FOMO and come early before it's sold out!
Also in the cold case are lava cakes from Terri Sue's cakes and next to the cold case they feature gelato from Desyree's Gelatology!! Yes you read right! The choices in stock are a perfect mix of Desy's traditional flavors as well her popular ones. Lately I've been addicted to the watermelon sorbet, Blueberry Cheesecake and Lemon Pie.
--The Shop--
The shop is located in the small Champion Village strip mall right by Bistro Pizza.
Locals who know this area remember that a cupcake shop use to reside here. It's clean,(AND rockin the A grade!) bright and cheery, I love that they added some seating. It's the perfect neighborhood spot to stop by!
--xtra tidbit--
no the "507" in Sweets 507 is not an area code, nor has it have to do anything temperature wise....anyone guess yet??? It's the country code of Panama! Where Michelle's family is originally from!
--The Staff--
Family owned, you'll be mostly likely be warmly greeted by owner/pastry chef Michelle or her sweet mom. I like how you can sample the gelatos. If you are not in a rush, and want something that's not in the case, (IE chocolate chip cookies) Michelle will bake you a fresh batch!
Pretty sweet to have another place for sweet treats in the neighborhood again!
