Renovations are still going. The hotel kind of looks ok on the main and second floor, but it starts to look like a warzone the higher up you go. Conversion rate to USD is dollar per CA dollar. (Losing ~23 cents per dollar.) PLUS an additional 5% fee. Do you exchanges elsewhere. The room was clean. Nothing special. No extras. Breakfast was completely inedible. Watered down drinks, frozen bagels that were just starch puffs. Nothing looked or smelled good. Ice machines were either slow or broken. Had to go to every floor to get enough to fill a little bucket. Receptionists were good, except the exchange thing. Pool was small. Didn't go in to say anything other than that. There's no view from the rooms other than parking lot. You're about 20km from downtown Toronto. The highway to get back and forth is extremely easy and no tolls. All depends on what you're looking for. I think for the price it was decent but between the breakfast, ice machines, and renovations, I'd pay a little extra to go somewhere else next time.
