I live across the street, so my son & I rode our bikes to lunch at The District and found this place. It looked like a lot of fun for my son, so I signed him up and he had such a great time that I got my friend to bring her daughter with us the following weekend. When we checked in the same lady helped us as the weekend prior, but her attitude changed completely. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but she had the worst attitude! Even though the class was barely if even half full she informed me that normally I would also have to purchase a paint with my child and informed me she will let it slide this time but next time I have to pay for myself to paint as well (umm I don't want 2 of the same painting in my house) also why wasn't I told this the week prior? And if the class was full I totally get it. But why the attitude? My son the week prior kept up just fine with the instruction and timing and he is a shy quiet guy, so it's not like he was acting like a brat and annoying anyone, because that too I would understand. It was just completely uncomfortable for all of us because my friend noticed the hostility too. We wanted to leave immediately but the kids were so excited we sucked it up and stayed. Now my son & I frequent Color Me Mine, he loves arts & crafts. It's too bad because my son loved it, I told him nope, never again not at that location.
