First lets talk about the P0$ Hayward EcoDrive pump they sold me which has now failed due to a drive error. And from what I have heard this is happening ALL over the valley with the EcoDrives. Hayward is putting out a defective product line at a ridiculous price. Love to see their bottom line. If that was not my only problem with Leslies - their service department no longer seems to be able to deliver SERVICE. My pump went out on August 16. I was scheduled for August 24. The tech just looked at the error, called in the warranty and told me it would be a week to get a replacement drive. Now it is September 2 and no phone calls no communications. I had called on Thursday Aug 31 and Friday August 1 each time the operator was going to call dispatch and someone would be back to me on each day I called. Today when I called, they had no record of my two previous calls and when they called the store to see if my parts were in the store said they didn't have anything for me. Like what is that supposed to mean - the drive hasn't been delivered or the order wasn't placed. I think the later. After leaving a seething message for the supervisor of their so called call center, I get a call back from the operator informing me that the tech (Aug 24) is out on leave and wont be able to even respond to me until Monday. Meanwhile going into my third week with no circulation in the pool. All I can say is one star - I only did that cause you have to rate at least a star. I will not buy another Hayward pump again and I am certainly looking for another local pool store - NOT LESLIES.
