We love Wigle Whiskey, and we made our first trek to the North Side Location during the Deutschtown Music Festival last weekend. We were so glad that we did! It is a great location for outdoor concerts and enjoying their awesome whiskey. There was a tent set up with picnic tables, and the band was on a stage towards the back by the open building. There was a food truck outside, but since we had just eaten we focused on trying some of their newest spirits. They had a tasting table set up where you could try whatever you liked, and there was not a tasting fee. We both enjoyed the hopped whiskey, and their small batch four grain whiskey as well. There is a definite reason that Wigle is winning multiple awards for their delicious whiskey.
After tasting, we went over to the bar area which is in a new, modern building. They were mixing three cocktails for $6 each. I had the Paloma and my fiancé chose the whiskey and ginger beer mix. Both were refreshing for a hot summer's day. We cannot wait to go to another event here in the near future!
