I could not decide if my recent experiences are a 3 or 4. I eat here a lot but recently I have noticed something. The Prime Rib sandwich was very fatty, thin and had little meat on it. The Chicken Mexican salad had almost all beans but little lettuce. When I asked my server what was going on, she told me that they are trying to save money. I will try going again in a few days and see if it is the same story. Today I ate my prime rib sandwich without the bread because there was very little mat to put on it. Come on Village Tavern, I have never had a negative experience here, your servers are great, I love the ambiance but once you start cutting corners, that spells the end.
