Eh... I booked this hotel because it was so last minute that all of my other "go to" hotels were either already booked up or overly priced. I checked in, and noticed NO ONE was in the lobby. No biggie - no lines to wait in! I was given my room key, but was told I needed to drive there as it is a big property. I pulled up to the building that I was in, and it is definitely a motel-ish type of place, NOT a resort as their name would suggest. I mean, there's a pool, but that shouldn't automatically mean you're a resort, right? If it were that easy, then the local YMCA would be a resort, too! I get to my room, and it smells of smoke and wet dog. The large sign on the front of my door clearly says "non-smoking room". I shouldn't made it clear that I also wanted the non-wet dog smelling room, too. I went back to the lobby to grab some food as I was starving. I walked into the restaurant, which the sign said was open, and found 2 servers arguing with a busboy. They all saw me, but they didn't budge, greet me, say hello - nothing. And there wasn't a soul in there, either. So I walked over to the bar (separate from the restaurant, but on the same property). Again, not a person in there. The bartender was texting on her phone for a few minutes before I had to say, "excuse me?" I asked her what was good on the menu, and she replied, "everything" and continued to text. I ordered a chicken sandwich anyway because I was so hungry. I took it back to my room. It was terrible. I should've known better than to order from a place that has no one in it. It's very likely the food there is weeks old. I have two tips for fellow yelpers: Tip #1 - Don't stay here. Tip #2 - If you do, please not that this is under the DIRECT FLIGHT PATH OF EVERY PLANE COMING AND GOING FROM LAS VEGAS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
