I called in to pre-order a box of cards, I wanted to know if I pre-ordered if I would get the promotional product that comes with buying a box, after some deliberation with I assume a manger of some sort I was told yes if I pre-ordered a box I would indeed also receive the promotional product as well. Two days later I call in again and ask if I order 2 boxes would I receive two of the promotional products? I was told indeed I would. So I spend $200 and drive the 40 min to gilbert to pick up my pre-order. When I get there I'm handed 1 box and then they turn to walk away. I say hey I actually have 2 orders and I was told I would get 2 of the promotional items as well. I was met with oh we don't do that. I said I specifically called and asked on two separate occasions because otherwise I would order online and save $20. His response was "I don't know what to tell you" I said there is even a note on the order that confirmed I was told I would get the promotional product which I pointed out. Responded again with "I don't know what to tell you. We don't do that". But I called and asked twice...to make sure...and then when I was sure...I drove here to support the LGS. "so...do you want a refund?" I indeed do. Way to fall short in a place that desperately needs a good gaming store. Lost $200 and a customer over what? $10 dollar promotional product? I would recommend trying any other game store.
