This is a beautiful, peaceful canyon that is spectacular and awesome. The colourful peaks tower thousands of feet and the red patterns in the rock are quite stunning. This area is so close to Las Vegas it would be understandable it is crowded with people, but it isn't. The scenic drive is easy and there's enough room for all visitors to find their own solitude and peaceful spot. The wildlife around includes wild burrows, desert chipmunks, rattlesnakes and road runners. The circuit takes as long as you'd like to spend here.
