Great local spot competing directly across the street from a Starbucks (Creme was here first) in the west end of the Junction neighbourhood. The beans here are well picked as both the drip and the espresso beverages were super smooth without any harsh aftertaste. I went with the decaf Americano as I was already one caffeinated beverage deep the day I visited and my friend had the drip. I'm not usually a decaf fan but I gotta admit I couldn't tell the difference between decaf and regular here as the decaf didn't have that soulless flavour that most do (and didn't taste burnt like most Starbucks americanos). WiFi is free and the washroom keys are located to the left of the counter - just ask the staff here. The design here is casual and has a nice laid back independent shop vibe - you know, like everyone sorta knows everyone and the staff (vice versa). Definitely a community hub, which is super nice to see. Given the choice, I think I'd much rather return here for a cup of coffee than the massive chain competitor across the street and to do some work (although access to outlets might be limited).
