Driving around at 3 yesterday a little hangry next to the strip, my girlfriend recommended her go to sushi place, Umiya. Now this being the second day in a row for raw seafood, I was a little hesitant, but boy I was not disappointed.
I ordered tuna, super white tuna, fresh water eel well done, and the spicy tataki roll (inside is spicy tuna, with seared tuna, avocado, green onion and pickled onion on the outside. Dressed in hot sauce and ponzu sauce)
I have to say for ayce the rice attached to the sushi was very small compared to most ayce sushi places in Las Vegas. The fish was very fresh and flavorful. And with as busy as this restaurant was the food was served very quickly. Plenty of restaurant staff to ensure speedy delivery and quick refills.
Also when you check in you get a free soda.
A must go to when on this side of town.
