It was our first time if Vegas. The good: The hotel was nice. The casino floor was small but the staff was very nice and helpful (especially the craps table). The bad: it was hot. Our thermostat was set at 65 the whole time and it was still hot. I had maintenance come up to check it out and he said it was working fine. I like my hotel rooms to be cold and comfortable. I want to snuggle. It was just to hot for that. My wife was getting ready to iron her top and she got the snot shocked out of her. The cord to the iron was shorted out and sent out a spark that burned her arm. To make things worse it took over an hour to get another iron to us. The ugly: We had to leave due to a family emergency. During check out I handed in my keys and they printed a receipt and I was out of there. On the plane I looked at what they printed and I was charged a 'resort fee' of 28.00/night. I called when I landed and they told me that was for the pool and internet. We never used the pool and when you signed on to the internet it stated that it was free to guests. The lady told me that everyone is charged this. So we paid a price for the room but because we used the room we got charged extra. Nice.
