The King's Kitchen was DELICIOUS! Every time I come to Charlotte I never get a chance to go and this time I made it a priority. My husband had the fried chicken w/ greens, corn, Mac & cheese + corn bread. Our friend had the Duck + side salad and I had the gumbo + corn bread. We all thought our food was delicious. But I wasn't really a fan of the corn bread. The bathroom was clean and the staff was pleasant; the manager for the night seemed really nice. Our server was a little dry at first and then he started to come around and I ended up really liking him. We ended up getting banana pudding for dessert and it was average. The price was moderate. I would say the parking is difficult if you are trying to get street parking but there are parking garages near by. Overall so grateful that we decided to have dinner.
