If you want an ER Department known for their great patient care, this is NOT the place. Nursing and Physician staff lack the foundation of providing adequate service to meet the patients needs. If staff are content with just going through the motions then find another job that might make you happier. Let's be clear...people do not go to the hospital for fun or go out of their way to inconvenience staff, they are seeking help and want to be respectfully treated. For example, we didn't know that asking for a blanket was so hard to do. At least the United States has that in spades because if you treat clients like that you get fired. Apparently there is no accountability in social health care, no one to really take the blame because blame can easily be spread around and nothing is done.
