It is definitely worth $1 for these luxury porta potties! If you are having an event that requires outdoor peeing, you should get these pretty pink babies. I spent a total of $4 using the restroom at the Foodie Fest, and it was the best $4 I spent all evening. Plus, I had a back to back comparison. When I found myself on the opposite side of the event, I thought, "How bad can these normal old potties be?" The answer: very bad. As I learned, the AVERAGE porta potty smells from a mile away, doesn't flush and leaves you with no options for trying to cleanse your hands from the inches of germs you have to expose yourself to once inside. It's like a combat zone with no toilet paper! You feel like every bit of your body is coated in disease after exiting. And, did I mention the smell? I saw grown men wrenching as they made their way to the door of the average potty. But, PortaJanes are the exact opposite. First, they are pink, which just makes them look happier to begin with. Yes, they ask for $1, but part of the proceeds go to charity. And you get: a smell-free unit, a toilet that flushes, plenty of toilet paper, a sink with water and hand sanitizer. It's the pink Cadillac of porta potties.
