I think that any negative review has not dined at a Brazilian Steakhouse previously.
Yes, the meat is salty in most cases- that's how it's supposed to be. It's cooked in rock salt.
Yes, the meat comes quickly if you have your chip on "green". You are informed of that upon sitting, and encouraged to take your time.
Last night we had an excellent experience at Texas de Brazil. I was impressed by the choices on the salad bar- and had to fight myself not to eat all of it so I would have room for all 'da meats!!
Our server, Alex, was phenomenal and added to a really nice night. He was knowledgable about the two signature drinks we had and even met me at the salad bar to make sure everything was going well.
It was a packed house on a Friday night, but a manager stopped by to make sure everything was up to par. Good gesture.
This is what you would consider a "dining experience". I can understand how some would call it rushed (if the chip is green, I never felt rushed otherwise) or salty, but that's part of this Brazilian ambience. Take it or leave it.
It's a little pricey, but I don't consider it over priced. We had two dinners, four drinks (total), and dessert and it was about $140. I've spent WAY more than that at other steakhouses. We were there for a special occasion, so I didn't mind paying extra.
