A trip to Vegas, to me, is never complete without the wine and cheese experience at the bar at Otto. Tucked away in the Venetian resort, Otto is a Mario Batali / Joe Bastianich venture. I cannot write a sentence about the food or pizza because my visits there are all about one treat... The wine and cheese. They offer a really nice five dollar antipasto platter that features charcuterie, olives and some cheeses. The menu also offers cheese options that can be ordered singly or in tastings of 2-5 different types. The water buffalo mozzarella continues to be a can't miss item but the Fontina and others are great too.Nice homemade bread accompanies all orders ....Ahh the wine ... This time we started with a wonderful Proseca and followed it with a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. We topped the adventure off with a beautiful Pinot Noir that dripped fruitiness and depth. I guess i should really try eating here some day but the star for us is the wine and cheese. Love it and i think you will as well.
