St. James Corner is just as impressive outside as it is inside. Beautiful stained glass windows, a second floor, basically decored-up like you were at a medievil church hence the name.
The interior is really homey as well, shelves housing snowshoes, lanterns, kegs, old suitcases and trunks, boxing gloves, old books, another table with a showcase featuring ceramic mugs and old trophies. It felt like being in a gentleman's den or a library.
On Monday nights they have 19 cent wings and buckets of bud and bud light for $15.95. Service here is excellent and they look like they have over 20 brews on tap. The bar is a glorified wonder, made from impressive dark wood and housing 5 plasma televisions. Each Television even features a different sports channel so everyone can watch the sports they want to watch. In the middle of all this sports mayhem is a most handsome clock.
Drink prices are amazing here 5 bucks for highballs and cocktails. They serve margaritas at 6 and martinis at 7 and you also have a nice selection of red and white wine.
While you are here get yourself on the 100 pint guinness united drink list, order 100 guinness bottles for yourself and your name will be put on a 100 pint club plaque as well as recieve a 100 pint club commerative shirt. Too funny.
All in all this is a great place to relax and visit with friends.
