First of all, I would like to say, Dr. Huyhn is a lifesaver.
Dr. Huyhn was kind and affable from the get-go when I came in for back spasms a month or so ago. I figured that if my pain was in my back, then perhaps a chiropractor could help. Instead of focusing solely on my back (and maybe because it was my first chiropractic appointment ever), he decided to do an all-over check to see if anything anywhere else on my body might be causing my back to overcompensate and cramp up, and we found out that I had some tender spots on my stomach even though he was barely putting any pressure. I had not noticed the pain in the first place until he pressed that particular spot. (Of course he did a spinal adjustment and made sure to use a TENS unit and some BioFreeze to help with the back pain in the meanwhile!)
So, along with an x-ray for my back, I was sent to the radiologist with a request for an ultrasound for my abdomen. It turned out I had an enlarged liver and gallstones. Within a few weeks, I had scheduled doctor and surgeon appointments and have since had my gallbladder removed, at the beginning of this month. If it weren't for Dr. Huyhn, I might have ended up in the hospital for an emergency surgery, at risk for more complications than just having had a scheduled surgery that I could prep for and fast before. He caught an issue that the urgent care I go to completely overlooked.
Both he and his staff are amazing and sweet people, and I'm so very glad to have made an appointment there. If you're looking for a thorough chiropractor who cares, then Angel Chiropractic Center is definitely the place to go!
