Wow talk about a local savior! Downtown Summerlin has finally answered the Summerlin's community's prayers to always having to travel to go anywhere fun! One of the major pitfalls for living in the west or the northwest is that you have to travel so far to shop or enjoy local bars such as town square. Red Rock has served as a temporary drug to our society's addiction to socialization, but the occasional yard house outing gets a bit old. It was an absolute genius idea to have a street of bars, restaurants, and everyone's beloved food trucks on and then to have shops surrounding the entire area. Downtown Summerlin is not just a day of shopping or a dinner with friends, but it is a "plan to spend the day" event.
