What a mistake it was to order from Edible Arrangements! It has the worst customer service imaginable. I ordered fruit for delivery for my sons birthday party, hoping to offer the kids a healthy treat. The birthday party started at 2 PM on the day in question, and for this reason I tried calling to place my order instead of doing it online, but I could not get through to a live person, so I placed the order online. I added a note explaining the time requirement when I placed my order. The website was quite clear and indicated that time cannot be guaranteed, however with their ability to do same-day deliveries etc. I assumed that if I made a special request I could ensure delivery before the start of the party. I tried calling again, just to confirm they got the message, but again could not get through to a live person. Despite waiting on hold for a very long time just to get through to the voicemail, I could not even leave a message as the voice mailbox was full. On the day of the party, we called, and eventually got through to a live person, who assured us that since it was such a large order, it had been made a priority, and she check the driver several times and assured us that it would receive priority care. Well, the fruit eventually arrived at 4 pm, basically missed the "eating" portion of the party, so then I was left with $230 worth of cut fruit on my hands. What an absolute waste of my money it was to call Edible Arrangements! In this day and age, efficient technological solutions and superior customer service is not only essential, but the norm! This business is operating in the dark ages. I will never use this company again and advise you to do the same.
