SolarCity has been great to work with from the beginning. This project is unfortunately sometimes a long process,(contract signed in 09/12, 3 months for design and permits, install 01/13) but they did a great job of setting realistic expectations on the timing of things and on areas they had control of, usually exceeded those expectations. (YMMV) We are now waiting on our utility company to inspect and approve to turn on which could add another month, but again, all of this was explained early in the process and out of their control.
Very responsive and great customer service so far. (Very rare anymore...)
Installation crew was also fantastic and very professional. We had 9.5KV system installed 36 panels I believe) on a two-story home with vaulted ceilings (high roof-line) and they had everything done in two days as promised. Clean and professional install.
Looking forward to many years of savings and service.
So SolarCity gets 5 stars at this point. Hopefully their follow-up service (if necessary) meets the same standard. If not, I'll adjust my rating accordingly!
