2/10/17 saw Feng. Both knees painful, affecting ability to exercise/walk. He ordered X-rays both knees and I have advanced arthritis. Cortisone injections in both knees were successful. 5/1/17 I wrenched right knee. Felt a stretch or pull. It was very painful and I had to find a cane so I could walk. 5/12 saw Feng and I told him what had happened. He didn't examine my knee or order tests, but suggested another cortisone shot. He's the expert - I consented. Pain was immediately worse than before I'd come in. I went to another doctor who deserves his own 1 star because he didn't order a MRI, either, although he noted the edema. He went ahead and ordered a series of 3 gel shots, which did nothing. 2-1/2 months later I demanded a MRI. My right knee has 2 tears and edema in several areas. Can I sue this substandard doctor? Apparently if you're past 65 you're not worth Feng's time or attention. The practice is definitely getting a letter from me regarding their "quality" of care. Anyone have an orthodpedic doctor/surgeon they recommend? I'm in the East Valley. Thank you.
