Sardine has a lot going for it: great location, great ambiance, views of the lake. However, I was a little underwhelmed by the food. I've been here a few times, for brunch and dinner, and I thought the food was good, but a tad high for the quality I wanted.
I've also had mixed experiences with the service. Because I've been there before, I knew that the front desk was in the MIDDLE of the restaurant, but there aren't signs. I've seen people just wait by the front door, and it just made me feel bad for them. No one really comes up to them and tells them that the host/hostess is in the middle.
That said, this place does have good seafood, and if you're looking for a nice lakefront view, this place has got it going on.
