The coolest thing about this ice cream place is that you feel like you walk into a real 1950s ice cream parlor! They have all these awesome retro toys like yoyos and little toy soldiers and the decor is just beautiful. I wish, I just WISH!!! the place wouldn't have been so small and ridiculously jam-packed. The line was literally out the door and the people behind the counter were just trying to get everyone through the line as quickly as possible. It was just a mad rush of crowd and noise and it made it really hard to take everything in and really enjoy the place. The ice cream was absolutely delicious (except banana. I'm a banana FREAK and I didn't like the banana flavor). But the strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla were very, very good. AND, if you order a kid's scoop it comes with a little toy dinosaur right on the ice cream!! How fricken cool! My boys loved it. In the future, I might stop by if I see the place is completely empty (highly unlikely), but if I see it's full I'll just drive by and probably go to Melt downtown. Oh, also, they do toppings but no "mix-ins". I like mix-ins better because then it's all uniform and you don't eat all the toppings first and ice cream later. (I got bananas on top of my banana ice cream and I had bananas followed by banana ice cream).
