This will be a mixed review, but worth the read. I was on the quest for a new colorist for myself and my mother. I stopped in at posare and booked an appointment. They put me with Martika. This was disastrous. I went in with beautiful full hair in need of freshening high and lowlights. I asked for chestnut brown with copper and blond. I warned her that my hair likes to pull red. I ended up red, with white blond stripes. My face was stained for 5 days. There were big round splotches of red in the blond highlights. The underlying brown turned a greenish hue in 3 days. My hair was flat and limp. It was a complete train wreck. A 10 year old could have done a better job.
I've never in my life asked for a refund on my hair. But this time I did. It was $250.00, which is ridiculous for what I got. She refused.
I spoke with crystal, the manager, and she scheduled me with Christina for color correction. What a miracle worker this girl is! She does amazing techniques, she's pleasant, she's talented, and it was such a delight. I would highly recommend Christina Anderson to anyone! If I were just reviewing her it would be 5 stars. Martika would get none. Therefore, the 3 star review.
So what started as a horrible experience ended up a very pleasant one. They did not charge me a thing to fix my hair. I will be back, and I cannot wait for Christina to do my hair again.
