We booked this room before it became the Elara...I'm not sure if anything had changed or they are planning to change since it's now part of the Hilton family. For your own good, I really hope they improve everything. From our first minute arriving there, we had a really bad impression. We arrived at 4pm on a Friday and the sign said Valet Full. So we're thinking well, that doesn't apply to guests staying at the hotel. But yes it does. The valet said even guests had to self-park (which took 20 minutes to find a spot). I would think if someone booked a 4 bedroom suite for 2 nights-they could allow us 1 spot to valet a car. But nope. No spots for us. Everytime we tried to go to the hotel elevators, the security guard would harass us. We were a group of 14 people and many times, walking to the elevators in groups of 4 or more. Every single time, they would harass us wanting each individual person to get their key out to show. We would assure them we were altogether & one room key could apply to 4 of us and each time it was a slight fight. The 4 bedroom suite was nice with a great view. However, you would think when cleaning came, they could at least make the beds & empty our trash. Nope. No luck there. Not even new towels. We had to call for towels. I would understand if we had our do not disturb sign on but we made sure we didn't so they would come at least provide towels & take out the trash. The pool is so-so. Nothing fancy. The location is pretty convenient, you can walk easily through a mall to get to Planet Hollywood that has access to the strip. Next time, we will try a suite at another hotel for sure.
