Got stuck in Charlotte for a night and they were going to put me in a Motel 6 or something...so I found this and booked. I should have read the reviews more thoroughly before staying here. It was not up to standards of a normal SpringHill Suites if you are a regular traveler. Only good thing was the size of the room, the rest...well...
The rooms are old, the bed was not comfortable, the bathroom was sketchy and the room didn't look all that clean. The a/c is right next to the bed and is loud.
Around 2 or 3 am I started hearing loud noise/people outside and was wondering what was going on, also people running and talking loud in the hallway. I just read another review that said it's located next to a strip club - that explains a lot.
The next morning, I smelled weed in the hallway.
Breakfast in the morning was blah. The breakfast area was not large, not clean, and the selection was slim. Some guests came down in pajama pants and head scarfs/bonnets/rollers like they were at home.
