I recently attended a wedding at the Tudor Arms and must say this is an amazing venue for a wedding! The couple had rented the entire second floor which included a large room for the ceremony and the adjoining grand ballroom for the reception.
First the Ceremony: The room has a beautiful large picture window as the backdrop - note to photographers, this could be a bit tricky and will require some work to avoid the back-lighting from taking over the photos. The overlooking balcony, rich woodiness of the room and overall look and feel of the room gave the ceremony a vibe of royalty. After the ceremony we were ushered into an adjoining pre-function room for bar service and appetizers (both excellent).
The Reception: The grand ballroom is so amazing visually that it took my breath away. Once again, a real vibe of royalty. The food, the service - everything was outstanding. I can tell the people in charge of event planning were on top of things and really know their game as everything ran smooth from start to finish.
If you are looking for an elegant place for a function, this has got to be on your short list of best in the city. Congrats for a great experience Tudor Arms!
