I recently ordered a Super Mario cake and cupcakes for my son's 6th birthday party. I was very disappointed in the appearance of his $300 cake & $150 cupcakes! The following is a list of the multiple issues with his cake:
1. Cupcakes Tasted like the inside of a freezer without it being covered. It was dense, but had no flavor. My mother makes better cake than that. The frosting was absolutely horrid. This tasted like cheap butter that had been mixed together. Gross, I couldn't even finish it.
2. The cake looked rushed and poorly done.
3. The cake was supposed to have my son's name. Emily FORGOT to put my son's NAME on the cake!!!!
4. Told us that she will give us a 20% discount on our NEXT cake... why on earth would I wanna get anything from this place ever again?!?!
It's very upsetting, because I really loved her work. She made my oldest son's Plants vs Zombies cupcakes and my youngest son's Minion cake.
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Go elsewhere if you don't want to be taken advantage of. I know they have good reviews, but trust me. I've been there
I expected more care and better workmanship for the amount that I paid for my son's cake and cupcakes. I find myself extremely disappointed in Pixy Cakes!!!!
