Do yourself a favor and find another contractor if you need air conditioning repair. These folks cost us a small fortune and are probably the highest priced per hour labor ($176 / man-hour) in Southern Wisconsin.
If the techs knew what they were doing it would still be expensive. However it took over four hours to determine a new compressor was shorted out for the second time and having no clue as to why (they ignored a manufacture recall). "Bad luck."
The manufacturer informed us the new HVAC unit General sold us was over one year old and had a recall for a valve that caused the compressor to overload and burn out. The distributor and General was notified.
General in our opinion is a waste of time and a waste of money.
If they had an email address to contact them I would have given them an opportunity to defend themselves prior to this posting.
