I have been here twice and had the same grumpy old Asian man server both times.
I knew I was in the right place when I was the only white guy in there. It is always busy so that says something.
The food is really delicious and such big portions. You are definitely full when you leave.
I decided to take the wife and kids to broaden their horizons. It was an experience watching them look at all the condiments like the basil, lime, jalapenos and sprouts and wondering how they were going to use them.
I had the chicken and seafood pho, it was just as delicious as the first time I had it, with perfectly cooked shrimp and quail eggs floating around for a great rich touch. The broth is so flavorful.
The kids all had the chicken pho. They weren't sure how to eat it. I told them slurping was OK, just in here though..lol
My wife unfortunately didn't eat anything because the old man either didn't understand her when she said vegetarian and asked if they had rice noodles. He kept showing her items on the menu with chicken and just didn't get it. So that sucked
It was a great experience for the children and I stopped someplace after for the wife.
Service is basic is all I can say. He takes the order, and drops the check off when you are done.
Next time, I want to find a place that clearly says what vegetarian options they have so my wife can enjoy with us...
