Decent staff. Great flavours and taste. Smooth texture. A bit more expensive but generous portions. I love kekou for gelato downtown. Their soft serve is not the best as the flavours aren't as prominent and the texture is more icing and less smooth, hence the 4 stars. Their gelato, on the other than, although they don't advertise it as smooth and creamy, I actually really enjoy the texture of it. They don't use any stabilizers in their gelato, which is what commonly gives gelato it's texture nowadays. That being said, I find their gelato to be perfect consistency. You pay first then get to try their flavours until you find the right one. There are many flavours available, each unique. I enjoy the HK milk tea and the Vietnamese coffee. If you are from HK, you would know that by combining the two it'll taste like a yin yang, which is half coffee half milk tea. Absolutely perfect. I also like their berry osmanthus sorbet. The durian flavour is also strong. They also have some with alcoholic flavours and those give you a little kick which I like. Overall, whenever you want good gelato downtown, Kekou would be a top choice for me.
