Don't get me wrong--still a diehard Warehouse Beverage fan but dear lord, I just about peed myself the first ten minutes in the door. By the time I finished shopping, I could barely lift my overflowing basket to the counter--maybe a comment on my utter lack of upper body muscles, but let's ignore that part.
If the place had an adjoining steakhouse, I'd have gone to heaven. As in Ron Swanson heaven.
Cigars, loose tobacco, jerky, pickles, more varieties of beer and wine than possibly imaginable. Specifically, over 2000 beers and 6000 wines. In short, not imaginable.
The place had not one, but THREE ales from Irish brewery Porterhouse. Needless to say, I was smitten.
Only cons: it's kind of in the sticks (but totally worth the trip), the beers are slightly pricier than say Warehouse Bev or your local brew-inclined supermarket, and the customer service is a wee bit snarky. Fairly knowledgeable but a tad whippy.
That said, it's a freaking goldmine of all things bold, flavorful, and quintessentially manly. Definitely worth the trip out for stylish dudes and classy chicks alike.
