Why is DONA even working here?!
I've been coming to this 99 Cents store for the past 4 years. Buying things from bananas to soap to birthday cards. Today I went in and had the worst experience ever with DONA.
I bought a few Birthday ballons, asked if they could add a tiny bit more helium. The whole time I was being nice and asked nice because hello, I want some helium in my ballons. This nice older man helped me with out hesitation. I walked out satisfied.
I guess the bad weather outside caused my ballons to soften up, I walked back in and the MOD helped me out, she kindly explained that the ballons do that, as I was listening to her DONA not minding her business bugs in.
I asked the MOD if i could swap or return them and again DONA bugged in. By the time we got to the register i mentioned to the MOD who was helping me "look I'm not being mean, everything I've asked for I've asked nicely , I have just never bought ballons here and I'm concerned." Again I kept a nice cool tone and never gave anyone attitude... as I faced the register while I was being helped , Dona was sort of behind me shaking her head and making signs with her hands pretty much mimicking me. I felt so stupid, I have never dealt with someone so immature. If she was having a horrible day she did not have to take it out on a customer..
Who cares how good their bananas can be here, or how nice they keep their gift cards if they have people like her working there. I get it, it's just the 99 cents store where you buy things for ONE DOLLAR, but their items are worth way more than that lady's attitude.
Come on it's only 8 o'clock and you're already moody?
