Three of my girlfriends and I visited Okra on Saturday afternoon and we left feeling refreshed, exuberant and ready to take on the world -- or at least Queen City. It was all anyone could talk about on the car ride to Monroe, so while I *shouldn't* speak for them, I can say without a doubt that everyone LOVED the experience. Two of the women had never even had a massage and the looks on their faces as they entered the lobby were priceless! Who should you get? Well...Claudio is ah-mazing. I live 2.5 hours away and had never been to Charlotte before but will definitely be back to schedule a session with him and let him work his magic. Personally, I love hot stone massages and wasn't expecting anything special but he applies just the right amount of pressure to relieve stress without making you want to yell out from the pain. The space gives off a really positive vibe which is probably more the energy of the owner, manager and massage therapists than anything else. Great prices, great tea and the deep stretch yoga is everything. If you're in the neighborhood , GO! If you're not in the neighborhood, drive over & GO!
