The convention I went to at Hilton Pointe did not provide breakfast, but luckily the organization I went with treated us to breakfast on two days here. It is a short walk from the hotel rooms, but that "hot like an oven" Arizona heat enveloped us while we walked there early at 7 AM. For the first breakfast, we took the golf cart shuttle from the lobby but for the second breakfast we walked. The first time, we ate in the dining section closest to the buffet bar. The second time we ate on the other side where there's a fire place. Being from Hawaii where buffets are bountiful with many food options, in contrast Pointe in Tyme's breakfast buffet was pretty limited. The beginning of the buffet line starts with fruits, nuts, cheeses, cured meats, crepes, smoothie shots, and a make-your-own yogurt parfait section. After that is the hot foods which was your basic potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and link sausages. In the corner is an omelet station. The first time I went, there was just too many people waiting for omelets from one cook with three burners. The second time I went, I really wanted an omelet so I skipped the buffet and got in line behind three other people. I honestly enjoyed my omelet better than the buffet foods.
