It was a bad day. The Vegas shooting happened the night before, and everyone was feeling a little off.
The mechanic let me know he would be a little later than expected. He did the work requested to the best of my knowledge as I did not watch the whole procedure.
He asked if I wanted the old parts. There should have been 4 of them. I only saw 2 in his hands when he asked.
I asked him to plug his scan tool in to see if the OBD 2 was working. First he said he would have to charge an $85 dollar diagnostic fee, saying he had a $35,000 education. Then he did it with no charge. It wasn't working and he left before it was determined whether the other repairs had solved the problem.
When I called to share my experience with their office, guy blew a lot of smoke and
puff,never offered any apology, only
excuses.
