We decided to go with Siena Peds when our daughter was born because a few of our friends recommended it. We saw Dr. Carrie and immediately felt at home. She is so kind and talks to you as both a mother and a doctor. We never felt rushed, she always sat down and answered all of our questions. She would even walk us through the little paper that they give you and discuss developmental milestones. She was always so gentle and sweet to our little one, who had stranger danger for a very long time. We were always brought in on time and were in and out of the office, especially when our little one was a newborn.
Dr. Carrie can be tough to get an appointment with because she is very popular so for last minute appointments we sometimes ended up with Dr. Matt or Dr. Lily. We were definitely happy with the service and quality of care both provided. Dr. Matt is a bigger guy so he can be intimidating to the younger crowd, but he is seriously the biggest teddy bear. He was so sweet and gentle with our little one and he was always available last minute.
If you need a last minute appointment it's best to call right at 8am. When we first started going to them it would be tough to get someone on the phone, but they have rectified that and my call is always answered now. The front desk staff aren't the most personable, as others have mentioned, but they've never been rude to me. I also love that they will transfer you to the nurses if you just want some advice but aren't sure if you need an appointment. They also have a 24 hour nurse hotline that you can call that literally saved us one Thanksgiving. Overall, we have been very happy with their service and expertise.
