Came here looking for a decent non-barbershop haircut. Booked an appointment with Heather since the site said she was good with Asian hair. Heather definitely is not experienced with Asian hair. After having shown her pictures of how I wanted to my haircut, she was completely lost on how to even approach cutting my hair. She also kept asking me about my accent and where I was "really from" despite having been born and lived in the US my entire life and speaking perfect English. She seemed pretty confused by the idea of an Asian person being born here. Overall, Heather came off as ignorant and unfamiliar with common Asian haircuts. I would not recommend her or MCN to anyone. $50 with tip is outrageous for what ended up being an experimental haircut by an unskilled and unprofessional stylist. If you're looking for a decent haircut for an Asian male, definitely go to Hair by G&E. They're the only people in Pittsburgh that can do it right.
