I am an actual customer of Republic Services. They bought out Allied Waste several years ago and I had been very happy with Allied. However, when they bought them out it was shortly after the recession and there wasn't a lot of waste companies left at the time, so they basically forced you into a three year contract because I couldn't find another company except Waste Mgmt and they were expensive. Within several months my rate went from $85.00 per month to $112.00 per month and they charge a $35.00 late fee as soon as they possibly can. There are other companies available now and I am just counting the days until my contract is up and I can kiss this overpriced service company good bye. Call around, call your neighbors do everything you can to find a different company for your solid waste needs before signing a long term contract with these highway robbers. They are NOT small business friendly!
