What a pleasant surprise this store was.
After stopping in the Root Café, I wandered in here, as I'm a sucker for anything art-oriented and tie-dye. I was immediately drawn in by their colorful women's wear selection, where they have a fun selection of tunics, dresses and skirts. It's a very lovely place to pick up a unique piece of clothing in diverse sizes. They also have an interesting handmade selection of accessories and other small gifts. I also adored the Buddha knick-knacks that were everywhere... lord knows we all need a little more zen in our lives. The store is beautifully organized and immediately projects happy.
I only had a few minutes left on my meter, and as I was at the register, there seemed to be confusion about checking me out (everything is done by hand) and it just moved very slow. I ended up just telling the gal to shove my stuff in a bag and I booked it, because I couldn't afford a cha-ching ticket from my friends the Lakewood Police. Perhaps I caught them in a training moment, but it doesn't change my desire to come back. I absolutely love their carefully curated store. Just plan for a few extra minutes.
