This is a much anticipated new bakery opened by former Masterchef contestant Baker Siu. Love his story and the concept of the store, but I think there is still a lot of room for improvement. The macarons are super cute but the texture and flavours are not quite there. The shells are too soggy and chewy and I tried most of the flavours of which none were intense enough. I felt that most of the fillings were too creamy/buttery and moist. I would not purchase the macarons for myself again, but they do still serve as a cute gift. I actually liked the cakes much better! I tried the matcha Zen and the Mont Blanc. The matcha cake was light and not too sweet and had just the right amount of matcha flavour. The Mont Blanc was also good but I thought the almond flavour overshadowed the chestnut a bit. I look forward to trying the other items on the menu. 5 stars for presentation!
