I've spent a lot of money at this bookstore and they have continued to be rude to me every time I'm in there. I agree with everybody else that it's mainly the older lady who is in charge of the book buying. With swip-swap sites, other used bookstores, yard sales, Amazon, etc, I have plenty of places to go to get reasonably priced books and even to sell them. She yelled at my husband for entering the drawing, and they barely even looked at the box of DVDs my sister brought in. I even pulled out a few after he had dismissed them all and he said, "oh, I didn't notice those." I went in there in a pretty good mood, but, as usual, I came out completely ticked off. I found myself asking why I continue to go in there. I must just like to be abused and made to feel badly. That's when I decided to write a yelp review and never go back. If she's wondering why her store is struggling, she needs to look in a mirror. We would gladly like to go back there again and again if she would just treat us with a little bit of decency and respect. It doesn't cost anything to be nice, but she literally drives customers away.
